Participant Survey – September 2024

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 46 responses to our participant survey in September 2024. We’re pleased to report that participant satisfaction remains strong in all areas except timely resolution. We’re taking measures to address a high volume of claims and improve timeliness in all areas of the dispute resolution process. Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • Easy to access and helpful regarding personal time and availability.
  • The emails were written professionally and with clear instructions.
  • Fairly straight forward process.
  • The CRT is a wonderful initiative. I am a lawyer in Alberta and am hopeful that a similar program will be initiated here.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • Provide an outline of steps to expect and a timeline what each step will take.
  • Make the instructions clearer for providing evidence.
  • It took a very long time to initiate the process. However, once it started it was really fast and super easy.
