Making a claim?
We are currently experiencing a high volume of claims. Please allow 2-3 months for your application to be processed. We will then contact you about the next steps in the CRT process. Thank you for your patience.
The CRT has jurisdiction over most strata claims in BC, of any amount.
- We can’t take claims about harassment, bullying or slander.
- We can’t take strata claims about land, like ordering the sale of a strata lot or deciding each owner’s percent share in the strata.
- Strata corporations must have a contact person for a CRT claim. The contact person must be an authorized member of the strata council or section executive. This is in the CRT Rules. Learn more about having a contact person.
