Participant Survey – January 2025

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 41 responses to our participant survey in January 2025. We’re pleased to report that participant satisfaction remains strong in all areas except timely resolution. We’re taking measures to address a high volume of claims and improve timeliness in all areas of the dispute resolution process.

 

 

Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • It is straightforward and inexpensive. No lawyers involved!
  • All contact with CRT staff was very professional.
  • They keep you very informed as to where your are at in the process and what will take place and when.
  • That it is a third party with no prejudice.
  • How kind and patient the case manager was.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • Simplify the CRT rules and regulations.
  • Made the decision process a little faster.
  • Update their automated communications to accurately reflect [timelines].
  • A more streamlined website will be very helpful for people with accessibility issues.
