This summer, the CRT has partnered with the Institute for the Future of Law Practice (IFLP) to provide a 10-week internship opportunity to a law student.
The IFLP internship program starts with a 3-week intensive bootcamp, which was held in May. Students were given a foundational introduction to topics such as Data Analytics, Design Thinking, Project Management, Artificial Intelligence and Technology.
Temitayo Osinbajo is the IFLP student who will be working with the CRT this summer. Temitayo has just completed her 2nd year at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Ontario.
Before beginning her legal education, Temitayo received an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto where she completed a major in Women and Gender Studies and a double minor in Sociology and Philosophy.
Temitayo is passionate about finding ways that technology can be used to improve access to justice. She is looking forward to learning how Canada’s first online tribunal has done exactly that, and is hoping to use the tools she learned at the IFLP bootcamp to help the CRT continue to lead the way in providing innovative dispute resolution services to British Columbians.
