Introducing another of our Summer 2019 interns!

This summer, the CRT welcomes Elliot Herzig as a volunteer. Elliot will help us research and develop a draft Indigenous reconciliation plan, consistent with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action for the justice system.

Elliot will also help develop a modern privacy policy that balances the open court principle with the protection of a litigant’s personal information on the web.

Elliot holds a JD from Queen’s University and an LLB from the University of Montreal. He will clerk at the Federal Court of Appeal starting August 2019 and at the Supreme Court of Canada starting August 2020.

Elliot believes that Online Dispute Resolution offers an unprecedented opportunity to improve access to justice. He is thrilled that Canada leads in its development, and looks forward to making his own contribution.
