Participant Survey – May 2025

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 37 responses to our participant survey in May 2025. We’re pleased to report that participant satisfaction remains strong in all areas except timely resolution. We’re taking measures to address a high volume of claims and improve timeliness in all areas of the dispute resolution process.

 

 

Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • The application process was straightforward and online access was convenient.
  • Staff are always friendly, helpful and professional.
  • Very clear instructions on the website and via email.
  • I was made to feel like a person rather than a file number which I so appreciated.
  • It is flexible and I can respond while being outside Canada.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • Improve the waiting periods to complete the process.
  • It would be helpful if there was a more obvious way to track/indicate the number of characters when filling in the claim.
