Participant Survey – August 2026

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 28 responses to our participant survey in August 2026. We’re pleased to report that participant satisfaction remains strong in most areas. We’re taking measures to address a high volume of claims and improve timeliness in all areas of the dispute resolution process.

Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • Being able to do it from home.
  • The process itself was very accessible for a first time user.
  • The fact that the CRT provides in person telephone support.
  • Responses to my requests for information, clarification, assistance were professional, friendly and quick.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • Shortening the wait time.
  • The minister overseeing this department needs to hire more staff to deal with the obvious overload of cases on the current staff which isn’t fair to them and to me.
  • More person to person contact.
