Participant Satisfaction Survey – May 2023

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 33 responses to our participant satisfaction survey in May 2023. We’re pleased to report that participant satisfaction remains strong.


Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • Staff was helpful and explained the process really well.
  • Online, which was convenient and painless.
  • Straight forward. Kept me informed.
  • I think overall the process was handled in a fair and reasonable manner.
  • Gives an opportunity to get your side of a dispute to an impartial party.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • Make the computer program more user friendly.
  • The time from application to dispute notice to be shorter.
  • AI enabled language translation CRT platform can further assist applicants freely describe the dispute in their native languages.
