Participant Satisfaction Survey – March 2023

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 39 responses to our participant satisfaction survey in March 2023. Satisfaction remains strong in all areas except timely resolution. We’re taking measures to address a staff shortage and improve timeliness in all areas of the dispute resolution process.

 

Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • Updates made to the platform in the past year, have made the process easier.
  • My assigned facilitators were extremely helpful in guiding me through the CRT dispute process.
  • Provided reference information that helped…such as referring me to the history of previous cases.
  • The fact that you can withdraw a claim very easily and get a refund. 
  • The opportunity to have [an] impartial decision on strata issue[s] without having to go to court.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • Speed up initial processing.
  • [A] tutorial that walks you through a hypothetical claim.
  • Allow evidence to be inputted and then uploaded all at once.
