We received 420 new disputes last month (2,860 fiscal year-to-date), lower than the average of 478 cases/month since April. We completed 426 disputes during the month. As at September 30, there were 2,467 disputes outstanding, compared with 2,476 as at August 31 and 2,586 at the end of July.
174 disputes were closed by default decision, 56 were decided after an adjudication, 101 were withdrawn, and 57 were resolved by agreement or consent order. The CRT refused to accept 15 disputes (primarily due to lack of jurisdiction).
