Many Civil Resolution Tribunal (CRT) staff are members of the BC General Employees’ Union (BCGEU). The CRT is affected by strike action that began on September 22, 2025. We aren’t able to take phone calls until our staff members return to the office. You can still make or respond to a claim. It will be considered received on the date the CRT received your application or response and payment of any required fee. But there may be a delay in letting you know that we received it. If you have an urgent issue about the distribution of an intimate image, you can find contact information for agencies that provide support on our intimate images page. Or, you can contact us, indicating that your issue is urgent. If you have a call or facilitated discussion scheduled that is affected by the strike, that call will be rescheduled when your case manager returns. In the meantime, if you have an urgent issue or have settled your claim, please contact us at CM [at] crtbc [dot] ca and put “Urgent” in the subject line of your email.
