Participant Satisfaction Survey – September 2022

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 27 responses to our participant satisfaction survey in September 2022. Satisfaction remains strong in all areas except timely resolution. We are taking measures to address a staff shortage and improve timeliness in all areas of the dispute resolution process.

Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • The case advisor was knowledgeable, courteous, and caring to both sides which helped us to resolve our claim.
  • The CRT allows individuals to have a fair legal voice in a dispute that normally would not be capable without hiring lawyers.
  • All information was communicated in a timely manner and I felt very much supported by the CRT.
  • That it could be done online.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • My one and only small complaint is the time it takes.
  • [Information about CRT process] I didn’t realize there would be additional charges, eg. for judgement [CRT decision].
