Participant Satisfaction Survey – January 2024

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 37 responses to our participant satisfaction survey in January 2024. We’re pleased to report that participant satisfaction remains strong in all areas except timely resolution. We’re taking measures to address a staff shortage and improve timeliness in all areas of the dispute resolution process.

 

Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • Low cost, therefore equally accessible.
  • It was straightforward, neutral and professional.
  • The people were extremely helpful, friendly and professional.
  • The CRT kept me updated about follow-ups and what they were doing to move the process along.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • More process guidance is needed on the CRT website.
  • More clearly identify those issues which are not under the CRT mandate.
  • Having more staff to shorten the wait time.
