Participant Satisfaction Survey – April 2023

The Civil Resolution Tribunal anonymously surveys people who have gone through the tribunal process. We use this feedback to improve the way we serve the public. We report the results every month on this blog.

We had 43 responses to our participant satisfaction survey in April 2023. Satisfaction remains strong in all areas except timely resolution. We’re taking measures to address a staff shortage and improve timeliness in all areas of the dispute resolution process.

 

Selected comments on what participants liked about their experience with the CRT:

  • Being able to do everything online and in writing.
  • Gaining knowledge and to move forward with a better result.
  • It is a streamlined process that has been quite helpful for our business to collect debts from very overdue accounts.
  • Regular updates on my case, professional and helpful staff.
  • It was faster and less expensive than traditional small claims court.

Selected comments on what the CRT could have done to improve their experience:

  • Should be a little clearer to understand the process.
  • There could perhaps be a better interface for online negotiation/discussion.
  • Speed up the time frame of the process.
