Continuous Improvement Update: June 2021

Solution Explorer Look & Feel

In early July, we’ll be updating the “look and feel” of the Solution Explorer. It will have a cleaner look that puts the focus on our legal information. It also has accessibility improvements for screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies.

We’ve redesigned the introduction (Terms of Service) page to explain that the Solution Explorer is anonymous, what to expect when using it, and how to make a CRT claim.

And if you want to make a CRT claim, the new design will make it easier for you to finish exploring and start applying.

Solution Explorer Content

Over the summer, we’ll be updating some of the legal information in our Solution Explorer. Based on public feedback, we’ll be streamlining many options and making them easier to understand.

Disputes can be complicated – we designed our Solution Explorer legal information to help with the most common types of disputes. But it doesn’t cover every situation. You told us that you’d like an easy way to make a CRT claim if the listed options don’t fit your situation. We’ll be doing that, with an explanation that your claim application will be reviewed to make sure it fits the CRT’s jurisdiction.

We’ll also be considering feedback about which areas could use new Solution Explorer content.

Website Redesign

We’re excited to announce we’re building a new CRT website. The new site will have an improved search for information about the CRT process, make it simple to apply for or respond to a claim, and more. The goal is to make it easier for you to find and do what you need, and to understand what to expect in a CRT claim.

We’re aiming to launch the new website in September or October. We have a lot of work to do this summer behind the scenes to get ready.

Check our blog this fall for another Continuous Improvement update! As always, if you have questions or comments, please let us know. We rely on public feedback to help us improve how we serve you.
